The Eucharist is the Radiating Center of our faith. It is
the "Source and Summit" of Christian life.
If you would like your child to receive First Holy Communion, please contact Patrice Fitzpatrick to register him/her for Religious Education. Preparation for First Communion is a two-year program, beginning in grade 1.

The Eucharist is the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus. It is the gift of Jesus himself which God has given to us as a source of his grace, love, and mercy. In the consecrated bread and wine, we receive Jesus as tangible food as well as spiritual nourishment that strengthens our faith in God and helps us to follow Jesus' example of loving God and one another.
The gift of Jesus in the Eucharist is the most perfect sign of God's saving love. We receive Jesus most perfectly in the Eucharist, but it is this same gift of God's divine life (grace) that God offers us in all the sacraments. Through the purposeful preparation and openness to receiving God's saving love at pivotal moments in our lives, we cooperate with God and are transformed, bit by bit, into the image of God in the Trinitarian relationship of divine love.
